Meet Ulysse, a 25-year-old self-professed technology aficionado who coded his first rudimentary HTML website at the tender age of 10. Fast forward a few years, and he graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s degree in Business and Information Systems Engineering, all while juggling his studies with freelance software development gigs.
During the challenging times of the Corona pandemic, Ulysse unexpectedly found success in the music industry under the moniker “MC Ulies.” However, his passion for technology never waned, leading him to conceive Scribewave. Born out of the need to streamline the laborious process of creating lyric videos, Scribewave has evolved into a groundbreaking multimodal conversion suite tailored for content creators. Its primary aim? To empower content creators to focus on their area of expertise by automatically converting unfamiliar modalities.
What began as a mere hobby project swiftly blossomed into a thriving Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, attracting over 2400 users and garnering recognition from esteemed organizations such as De Morgen and Woestijnvis.
Beyond the digital realm, Ulysse’s journey takes him to the heart of Brussels, where he delves into cutting-edge research as a PhD student at imec-smit-vub, immersing himself in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and innovation.
