My name is Sophie Vescovacci and I am 26 years old. I am a French citizen, born and raised in Paris, but originally from Corsica and currently living in Antwerp. My Belgian journey began in March 2023 as I was finishing a Masters degree in Digital Law. I’ve always had a strong passion for travelling and wanted to lean into my new professional life through an international work experience.

I first had the opportunity of doing an internship at the inspiring Antwerp Port House, which led me later on to starting a new position as a public affairs advisor, specialized in digital-related policy. Since I first set foot at the port, I’ve been constantly learning about the crucial role of the maritime sector in today’s globalized world and the numerous challenges it has to face. When I am not at the Port House, you can find me on a bike at my favourite spinning studio, at my intensive Dutch evening courses or in one of Antwerp’s several coffee bars.
