Mars Geuze is Chief Hyperloop Officer at Hardt, the hyperloop technology provider backed by the European Commission. Hyperloop is a new transport system where vehicles travel through a network of low-pressure tubes. Hardt is paving the way to certify hyperloop and realize the global hyperloop network. Within Hardt, Mars shapes the company’s vision, fosters international partnerships, and works on realizing the first hyperloop projects.
He is also a board member of the Hyperloop Development Program and the Hyperloop Association. Prior to this role, Mars built world-record breaking electric race cars in Formula teams and co-founded the Delft Hyperloop team, which was the overall winner of the inaugural SpaceX Hyperloop Competition in 2017. Mars holds a BSc in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Delft.
