Lode is a father of two young and creative minds: Lili & Leon.

He is also the founder and CEO of Start it @KBC, the largest startup accelerator in Belgium and top 5 in the world. Founded in 2013, Start it @KBC helped over 1.500 startups and scaleups on their way to growth and success. It has seven locations in Belgium, two in Hungary and one in Czech Republic and US.

In 2019, he founded Start it X to help corporations bring their innovations to market the startup way. It helps corporates, multinationals and government organisations to get innovations executed. Lode is Singularity University Alumnus, and passionate about exponential thinking, entrepreneurship, contemporary art and eclectic music. This year he will publish a book on intrapreneurship: “F*cking Start-ups”
