Karen is a divisional team lead engineering of Smart compressors in the Industrial Air division of Atlas Copco. The team scouts technologies to make compressors smarter and how to implement these in the newest Atlas Copco products.

Karen started 12 years ago in Atlas Copco as a material scientist and moved towards smart compressors in 2021, because she believes digitalization is the next step to make future products more sustainable.

Karen is also a member of the local diversity and inclusion ambassadors within the Antwerp hub, as “the most diverse and inclusive teams are also the best performant and innovative ones”.
