Co-Founder

kofVIE

The team of kofVIE consists of two co-founders, Chiara Rousseau and Silke van Steenwinkel.
Chiara is 24 years old and is passionate about sustainability and design.

She graduated from the University of Antwerp with a master’s degree in Product Development. In her last year, during her thesis, the idea for the startup kofVIE formed as she could merge her two passions together.

Silke is 25 years old and has a passion for working with and among people, to learn from each other and create something unique together. She holds a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Business Development.

With kofVIE our goal is to achieve a positive and sustainable impact on our planet.

We collect spent coffee grounds from businesses using a self-designed collection container. After collection we process the grounds into a new sustainable raw material that can be used for different circular applications.

With our actions we want to empower individuals and businesses to make meaningful changes in their practices. Whether through educational initiatives or collaborative projects, we are committed to fostering a community-driven approach to sustainability.
