Carl Wouters is Vice President Engineering of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique Service Division.
He has a mechanical engineering degree at KULeuven and started his career at Atlas Copco in 2010 in the Oil-free Air division as Project Engineer within the global design review team to support the worldwide product developments.

While building out his role as global design reviewer, he started the Model Based Engineering community in Atlas Copco Compressor Technique to push simulations, data analytics and algorithm development forward and integrate it in the product teams.

Carl has a passion for engineering and strongly believes every product team needs to embrace digitalization.
